Recently I have received quite a few emails requesting links for free bird food samples. I was quite surprised by all of this, I wasn't aware that that many of you had bird, let alone where looking for bird food samples.

Let me tell you I am sorry to disappoint but I spent quite a bit of time in search of this freebie that apparently everyone is craving to no avail. I simply can not find any bird food companies that are offering free samples. I will keep my eyes open so that if I don come across any I will post them. Oh, and just so all of you reading this wonder why I would write this post even though the bird food sample search was a failure. Last week alone I received 43 emails requesting these freebies. There must have been something in the news I guess.

Well, even though I haven't been able to provide links to free bird food samples, I will provide some of the information that I have come across. I hand read on a bird forum, I can't remember which one, that someone was conducting an experiment. This person had made a master list of all the bird food manufacturers that he or she could think of and began contacting them via their websites and requesting free samples. There were about 50 different companies, something else that surprised me, and a nice chunk of them actually said that they would send her a free sample of bird food. So I have decided to provide you a list of the companies that said yes, may you will have some luck as well. Here they are :Lafeber, Goldenfeast, Pretty Bird, Crazy Corn, Harrison's, Noah's Kingdom, Seed Factory, Hagen. She said she was going to try out all the different seeds to see which ones her birds would like best, but hey a freebie is a freebie, right?
